Day 2 Craigieburn

And we're off - Day 2

Tri led the team astray for a few Kilometers because he was talking on the phone with SBS radio, without a thought for where he was going, while the team assumed that he knew where he was going.

Stopped to rest in Craigieburn, just 10mins from the destination, waiting before meeting with our hosts at 4pm.

We had a most wonderful Indonesian Australian dinner at Lydia & Graham and their two boys, Luke and Nathan. Then we sat and listen to an Interviewed that Tri was doing with SBS Vietnamese Radio that morning. We then had a time of sharing stories with Michelle from Crossway North. Boys when to Michelle, Ladies stayed with Lydia and Graham, Tri when and stayed with Anne and John.

Anne told an amazing story of discovering that her grandparents were from Russia. Grandma walked from one mountain to another to get to China, she then came to Australia with a Chinese passport, while grandpa made his way to Manila. They met up in Brisbane. Anne also had communications from relatives who had tracked them after 60 years, since her Grandparents left Russia.

"And I wish you all the best for your future lives in this country, yourselves and your children, that in Australia your best hopes and aspiration for the future will be realised." MALCOLM FRASER, PRIME MINISTER 1975-1983:
